Dr. Miller is a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist. Dr. Miller received her specialist degree in School Psychology from Gallaudet University and her doctorate degree from William James College. Dr. Miller completed a pre-doctoral internship at Solnit North, a psychiatric residential treatment facility for adolescent males, and a clinical residency at Connecticut Behavioral Health, LLC. Dr. Miller has experience providing treatment and conducting evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, including schools, residential facilities, and private practice. Dr. Miller is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and has specialized training and over 20 years of experience providing therapy, evaluations, and consultation with Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Miller has presented nationally on best practices for conducting psychological assessments for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals.
