Kimberly Zito, Psy.D.
Kimberly Zito is a Post-Doctoral fellow at Connecticut Behavioral Health. Dr. Zito earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology and Masters Degree in Clinical Practices from the University of Hartford. Prior to receiving her doctorate, Dr. Zito earned her Master’s degree in School Psychology from St. John’s University and is a certified school psychologist in Connecticut and New York. Dr. Zito completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship at South Shore Mental Health in Quincy, MA, where she provided comprehensive outpatient care and school-based psychological services for children, adolescents and families. Dr. Zito has worked within a variety of clinical settings including therapeutic day schools, psychiatric hospitals and residential units, and outpatient clinics. Additionally, Dr. Zito has had extensive experience assessing individuals across the lifespan within a wide range of areas including: emotional symptoms and significant psychiatric concerns, attentional and executive functioning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, and learning challenges. Dr. Zito’s school psychology and clinical training experiences have afforded her the opportunities to develop expertise in consultation for both educational services and social and emotional needs.
