LCSW
Cassondra (Cassie) Acampora, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned both her Bachelor’s in Human Development & Family Studies and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Connecticut. She has provided therapy in school, outpatient, intensive outpatient, and residential settings, working with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds. Her experience includes supporting clients through emotional and behavioral health concerns, substance use challenges, and life stressors, as well as providing crisis intervention.
Cassie’s therapeutic style blends multiple approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. She draws from psychodynamic therapy to explore how past experiences and patterns may be influencing current challenges and uses a person-centered approach to ensure clients feel heard, respected, and in control of their own healing. Her strengths-based strategies influence each individual’s unique abilities and resources. Her holistic practices recognize the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and soul, promoting a deeper understanding of how these components must work together to achieve overall balance and well-being. Cassie also incorporates mindfulness practices to help clients feel more grounded, calm, and present in the moment.
Cassie creates a warm, welcoming space where clients can be fully themselves — feeling supported, understood, and safe to explore their story without fear of judgment. She believes healing begins with trust and genuine connection, and that lasting change grows from compassion and having a supportive person who walks alongside you every step of the way.
