Emma Nissenbaum

Emma is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate (LPC-A) and CT Certified School Psychologist. She received her MS and 6th year in school psychology from the University of Hartford and worked in CT public schools before joining CBH. Emma has worked with children, adolescents, and young adults at all stages of education from k-12 through college. Emma uses a variety of psychoeducation, skill teaching, cognitive/behavioral, and play therapy techniques to help clients set and achieve the goals that are important to them.

Besides counseling, Emma is working toward her PhD in school psychology and enjoys crochet, hiking, crosswords/sudoku, and using too many exclamation points in her emails!
